I finally got round to altering my beaut of a charity shop find from the summer, i was originally going to make it into a two piece but i love it so much i was worried it would ruin it so i just hacked off the length and i lurrrrrrves it! Especially with opaque black tights and chunky boots (which is pretty much all i wear at the moment and layering loads of cardis and gilets and coats -hmmmm snug)

Anyone else watch 'The Great Gatsby' this week? I dragged my bottom all the way up to co-op on monday to get my copy! It was a strange one, i actually really enjoyed it, it made me think a lot afterwards and i think it's one of those films you need to watch again to take it all in. The costumes and set were incredible and only furthered my love for the 1920s!

Such busy stressful times! It all seems to be coming to an end, and i hope life starts settling and falling into place (it's about time!!) I'm going to keep my head up and plod on through!

The weathers been so strange recently (which makes dressing IMPOSSIBLE) Bare legs and fluffy jumpers seem to be how i'm dressing day to day at the moment. One moment it's a bit chilly the next minute it's as humid as hell! (This outfit post was shot last week- i'd forgotten to put it up)

I don't know about you guys but i'm sort of looking forward to autumn! Thick black tights, layering and fluffy knitwear! yummmmm! But i'm going to enjoy my shorts and skirts and skorts for that matter, while i still have the chance!

I think it's fair to say New Look have got this dupe bang on! I find New Look a strange one, a couple of years ago, i adored the place, it was stocking really nice 'boho' pieces and i was loving it, but then my New Look seemed to go down hill, they were stocking very 'teeny' items and it wasn't my style at all, but recently on a whim i've been popping in and been seeing a few bits come in to stock that have caught my eye.

Now these beauties ...holy shit! I'm so impressed by these, and i can't believe they are only £29.99! They are definitely one of the best dupes for the 'Jeffrey Campbell Coltranes' i've ever seen! They feel such a good quality and also sturdy enough to see me through the cold seasons too!

Considering i absolutely hated neon the first time around, (remember the neon ribbed tank tops with rhinestone buttons - gross! I can remember my friends birthday party years ago, to my horror the theme was neon! Mum and i had to run out and buy the cheapest neon garments we could find as i didn't own anything at all neon in my wardrobe!) I'm pretty shocked to find myself dribbling over neon items at the moment - especially that beauty of a colour lime!

I'm adoring adding touches of neon colours to my outfits at the moment, as i own a lot of dark pieces i think it's a great way for me to brighten up my looks!
